The World Bank estimates that Thailand's digital economy will account for around 6% of gross domestic product (GDP) and be the second largest in the ASEAN region, demonstrating Thailand's potential to become a digital hub in the region, especially with comprehensive  mobile internet access and modern digital infrastructure such as ThaID and PromptPay.
